My boyfriend and i have been dating for almost 8 months and living together since Christmas. He’s been hinting at getting married, but then says he wants to wait at least until we’ve been together for a year. I know he has been checking out rings and i saw a bag from the jewelry store in the closet. Should i look? It may just be my birthday present, but i’m a little curious as to what’s inside. I’ve never been good at being patient! Would you look?
Nooooo. If he went through the trouble to surprise you, let him. Men love to do those sort of things even if they do not tell you. If he has something special planned, don’t you want your real emotions to give to him when he proposes? You don’t want to "fake it" since you already know what the ring looks like. Don’t look. You will be happy you didn’t.

i would say no…but maybe you should just in case it’s not an engagement ring. Then you won’t be thinking it all those months and be really disappointed in case it isn’t. Then again if you’re sure it is one…then don’t look so you can be really surprised at what it looks like. Heck…I don’t think I could wait. Just look. lol
