What is too expensive/etc for jewelry to wear to high school?
I just got a necklace for Christmas that looks like a silver key, I think it only cost $20 from Kohls. My question is, where do you think the line is for what you can wear to school? I never ever wear jewelry except handmade necklaces and stuff so I’m kind of clueless. =P
To be honest i don’t really think there’s a line with expensive jewellery that you can wear to school. I think it depends on if the jewellery makes you look to accessorised for school(:

Wear whatever you want to wear. Price really dosen’t matter. Just don’t take it off or anything…you may not get it back.

there really is no line for that…in my school the variety ranges from pure gold jewelry to stuff from the dollar store…its your jewelry and your style, don’t let anyone else draw the lines for you, do it yourself.

You probably want it to be cheap(and make sure its a peice of jewerly that you can probably find another one) in case it breaks or something. but if your but 20$ is sooooooooo not expensive just to wear to skool. i woudl think the most expensive would be around 100$(just wearing casual for skool) hope this helps!

I think you draw the line at something that costs more then $100.00.. If you feel uncomfortable wearing it to school then don’t.

omgosh hon wear it. LOL. I wear pretty gaudy stuff and im pretty well known around school for my style so its obviously not cramping my style

Well, it depends on the jewelry not the cost. My dad bought me a Tiffany’s diamond pendant, that I still have and I wore it everyday to high school and all through out college, up until I got married. My husband bought me a different designed one that I like more.
So, my suggestion is find jewelry that is school appropriate regardless of the cost.
I have been shopping at this site and I bought my cousins a bunch of stuff from here, they LOVE it.
