I changed mine piercing after one week of having it done, it hurt a little but my body didn’t reject it. I make sure i change mine at least once a week so that i don’t get an infection from a dirty bar.

Just clean your bar in boiled water and salt for a few mins, and that sterilises it. Also make sure you clean your piercing well. Every time you change you bar, clean your hole with salt water using cotton wool or an earbud. There’s no need to do this every night though because that could just irritate your skin and lead to the hole releasing pus. Don’t use any special soaps or creams because these aren’t natural. Salt is a natural disinfectant that’s why it’s best to use.

Everday when you’re in the shower/bath just use a earbud and rub it around the bar while it’s in your belly button to clean away any crust that may have formed during the day.

If you clean your piercing and the hole and change it once a week, then your body shouldn’t reject it.

so, navels take 6-9 months to heal, and often take up to a year or more. so, the fact that you have been changing it, and what not, is not a good thing. you have hindered healing and are lucky, quite frankly, that nothing worse has happened. go to http://safepiercing.org/ for proper aftercare and waht to avoid.
leave it alone. don’t change the jewelry, don’t take it out, don’t do anything but the saline soaks. if it were me, i’d give it an extra six months considering the damage you have done

Buy sea water spray and put a barbell in to avoid dangly parts causing snags and twisting. Stop taking it out…. A piercing IS a wound and needs time to heal. If this don’t work then u might be rejecting it. July last yr I got mine done and by January I had to leave it out.

if u don’t have pain around your piercing and its not infected u can change it out,
the best sign is if it is dry, and not inflamed.
