That scheme enable people to declare there unaccounted income
and convert into white money. The scheme was introduced by our present Prime Minister Mr.Manmohan Singh. He was then Finance Minister. The one of the prospectus/attraction of that scheme was that -One who declare money,Gold or Silver, his indentity will be kept as secret and confidental. If any enquiry to be done in future regarding VDIS,it would be done by Commissoner or Assistant Commissioner in top secret manner. I declared some Gold under VDIS without in the knowledge of my family. The documention regarding VDIS was done by my C.A.. Even my C.A. sent the Jeweller at my house, to whom I sold the Gold Jewellery and took the bill. Now VDIS scam was emerged and Commissoner ordered the enquiry. Many people got the notice. Now his Junior ITO officals summoning and harrassing us.But main probs, which is bothering me and other people, why junior staff of ITO involved?I am living seperately, because my family claim that I cheated them.
Because the Commissioner and other higher authorities have delegated their powers to Junior ITO and for details you have to consult your C.A. / Income Tax Consultant.

Hope you’ll find what you’re looking for!
For example If you look at West Indian men you notice them with more jewellery on than African men for example gold bangle, chains, hoop earings. But i have also notice this with alot of Indian men in India because Gold is quite common wear in Indian culture for both men & women.
Could this be because all of the East Indian that went to to West Indies as Indentured Labourers in the mid 1800s from India who brought their jewellrey culture among them with their hindu culture of Ganja chillum and Sadhu drealocks and their curry goat and roti in Jamaica or around the West Indies.
Because to me it very Indian culture not African?
And then you hear the bling culture in Hip Hop, who the jamaicans from the west indies broght this from East Indians from India. because if you look at an average Afriacn man like a Nigerian, Sudanese, or Somalian they wont be wearing gold bracelets, bangles, chains or hoop earings?
I dont get what your trying to get at…you have answered your own question.
"Large deposits of gold in the Gold coast, now called Ghana made the use of this precious metal an integral part of life. From headbands to necklaces, earrings and arm bands and rings, the jewelers used gold heavily. It was even claimed that the King’s clothes were sprinkled with Gold dust. Many of the tribes in Ghana today are actively selling gold jewelry.
Up in the North of Africa, the Tuaregs are known for their distinctive African jewelry designs. This nomadic tribe adorn jewelry made of intricately designed silver pendants and wood beads."
Yellow Gold or Platinum Settings?

diamond earring / ring set in should be yellow gold or platinum? what looks elegent, royal & goes on everyday clothing?
I am an indian, having most of my jewellery in yellow gold, but living in USA and not using much of my jewellery.
Really it’s whatever you like most. There is no hard and fast fashion rules anymore. The trendsetters are the people who dress for themselves instead of trying to follow others.
I really like platinum personally. But if you have mostly yellow gold, then maybe it would be best in that s everything mtched together.
Significance of Butterflies?
Author: admin
So the last few days I have had random thoughts of butterflies. All relating back to my childhood. While I have not seen a real live butterfly yet this year (its still too cold where I live), their image keeps popping up. For instance, I saw a movie with a butterfly in a cacoon. It returned strong and vivid memories of my childhood of when I found a cacoon a butterfly had hatched out of. Then I had a dream about someone who years ago noticed how I always wore Butterfly Jewelry and they told me that they are a symbol of freedom. Then today I was at a meeting and someone was telling me about a book they wrote, they pull it out, and it’s all about butterflies. Is this just a coincidence, or my subconscious, or something else? What could this mean?
Butterflies usually symbolize transformation, for obvious reasons. Try taking a good look at how you feel when you see one. Be open to possibilities. And remember that the more you think about them, the more often you’ll see them.
White gold alloy?
Author: admin
Can any one suggest me a better alloy available for 18kt white gold in Indian market for studded jewellery.
There is no legal definition of what constitutes a ‘white’ color in golds. So, you can alloy with anything. Just keep it 75% gold. Copper is not used very much in white gold as it adds it’s own “color.” Usual white gold alloys are made with nickel, palladium, platinum. These metals are strong gold whiteners. Silver and zinc are considered moderate whiteners. And, all the other metals have a weak whitening effect.
How important is the "white" color to you? If you don’t mind some color, a small amount of copper will increase the workability and ductility for making studded jewelry. But if true "white" is required, then alloy with palladium it is more costly but also very ductile.

What should I do with my red wedding Lehnga?
Author: admin
I am half Indian and half Pakistani. Three years ago, I had the traditional Asian wedding and wore the tradition red lenhga with the dhaputta (shawl) over my head and lots og gold jewellery. A few of my friends are getting married soon, and I want to wear the lehnga again, but I don’t understand how to wear the dhaputta, since I can’t wear it over my head like I did for the wedding and it is pretty heavy with all the gold work on it. Does anyone have any ideas?
I have the similar lehnga..I tuck one end of my dupatta in my lehenga and then bring the other end from the back to the front. Then I fold it just like saree..Its hard to describe..Try to google saree or lehenga and you will lot of pics..
You can even wear around your neck either back to front or front to back..even just put it on one shoulder..there are so many ways

I get angry passing through Javeri Bazars ( gold/silver/gems/jewellery market ) in indian cities. Shops are jam packed with overfed over clothed women mostly. They are all in a buying spree . They have each calender day a special day for them. I do not know where from they get that kind of money . I have a feeling BALCK MONEY resides permanently there with different PAN numbers . It is not very difficult to track them down but who cares.
The only way to tackle this menace is getting religious leaders of all the religions of the world to declare wering of gold, silver , gems and jewels on one’s body is an act punishable by God Almighty.
But why should they do it ? They themselves are the SWISS BANKS for some political outfits .
We need some AVTAR to come and get rid of all gold etc etc from this earth.
Your intention is good but the problem is that mostly the people with good intentions also behave in a similar fashion once they too get that type of money.Answer lies in mass edn, awareness, sending honest people to parliament, increasing number of courts to deliver quick justice, police reforms and so on.
