I’ve been looking for cute cloths with butterflies on them, not jewelry, just cloths. I’m a bit busty so it can’t be printed on the whole shirt, it looks odd.

go to goodwill or the dump where they throw shit that know one else would be caught dead wearing.

where can i buy this stuff for cheap

ultra super really really stretchy size 1-3 skinny jeans

Funky Jewelry and other accessories

converse all stars

little plastic colored hair clips

knee socks (not sporty or tights material just for looks)

other unique clothes/accessories and stuff

Skinny jeans are selling for 12.50 at Forever 21.
At WetSeal you can buy one pair (They are 25 bucks, about) and get another one 50 percent off so it ends up being a great deal.

You can get jewelery at Claires, Icing, WetSeal, Pacsun, Target, and Forever 21.

You can get the cheapest converse at Target but they are one star. For All Star you can get them at Hot Topic for 35 dollars.

You can get knee socks at Forever 21. Really cute ones too!

Unique stuff, basically the stores I mentioned:
Forever 21
WetSeal
Rave
Charlotte Russe
Urban Outfitters (A little expensive sometimes)
Target (Actually does have some really cute things)

Seems like we have the same sense of style! I bought almost all the things you are looking for. Well good luck and have fun shopping!

Engagement ring?

I snuck a peek in my boyfriend of over two years wallet and he has a brand new credit card from Jared the Galleria of Jewelry (where we looked at buying and engagement ring for me a year ago. . .). What do you think the odds are that he bought the ring for me?
I saw the card over a week ago. If he did buy the ring, do you think he had to order it (I wanted a 3/4 carat round peerless diamond in a platinum setting) or do you think he is just nervous about popping the question? How long can guys keep up waiting!!?

A. Stop snooping, it’s bad for your relationship.

B. They can wait a long time if they want to. My FH had my ring hidden in his closet for almost FOUR MONTHS before he asked me.

C. Yes, he probably bought the ring. Most guys don’t go around getting credit at jewelry stores for grins and giggles.

D. Quit snooping.

E. Be patient. Put it out of your mind. It will happen, but on HIS schedule.

F. Quit snooping.

Hey Guys,
I was just wondering if i could use epoxy resin to make a pendant with real butterfly wings.
about a 3 weeks ago i found a dead butterfly on the street and picked it up. I put it in an air tight container. I removed the body from the wings and now i have four separate monarch wings, which are magnificently beautiful. My sisters love the real butterfly wing jewelry, the have seen in art shows, so i wanted to make them necklaces for Christmas….gettin to the point, i want to know how i go about making them necklaces without damaging the wings. I bought some epoxy resin at the store the other day, because i read online that you can use resin to preserve the wings, but dont know how. Can Some One Help Me??

*I DID NOT KILL A BUTTERFLY, NOR DO I BELIEVE IN DOING SO,JUST TO MAKE JEWELRY*
here is an example

Things like butterfly wings are thoroughly dry by the time you get them usually, so not a problem to embed into resin (or coat with it). The problem with embedding anything with moisture in it into resins is that it can cause excess bubbling or later cloudiness in the resin… so things that contain any residual moisture are usually "baked" till they’re thoroughly dry (like twigs or bare wood) and/or they’re "sealed" in various ways first.

You don’t say whether you got a regular epoxy resin (like Envirotex Lite) or the new "tweaked" version called Easy Cast though (which can be cast in molds more deeply but may also have softness/flexibility problems later), but the example you showed could work well with either since the resin is shallow and down inside a "cell."
There’s lots of info on how to use resins like that on this page of my site:
http://glassattic.com/polymer/other_materials.htm
…for this use, click especially on the subcategory called *In Permanent Cells* which is under Epoxy Resin and little more than halfway down list at top of page

Otherwise, not sure what you mean about not "damaging" the wings… don’t know if they’re difficult to cut evenly, for example. If so, I guess you could seal first to give the wings more stiffness and cohesion, then cut… or sandwich between two pieces of clear packing tape, then cut the shape you want (the surface of the packing tape won’t show under the gloss surface of the resin).

HTH,

Diane B.

I’ve never really liked jewelry but now I’m really getting into it…

Where do you shop for jewelry? Names of both actual stores and online sites will be helpful. If you can try to include the type of jewelry they sell. (funky, beaded, homemade, just necklaces, just earrings, etc.)

Thanks!

When I was younger I loved gold jewelry, but now I’m into silver. So I’ll go to walmart, pawn stores and sometimes even Avon. I like to go/order from places that will save me some money, but at the same time get the jewelry I like ;)

(I like anything that’s sterling silver…I love rings, and hoops or funky kind of earrings. Not too much into bracelets or necklaces b/c I’m really rough on stuff! lol)
