Where can I find gold bangles and neckleses in 24k gold?
Author: admin
Ones I saw at the Indian Jewelry stores are 22k bangles and chains. Do they even make 24K or is it too soft so they HAVE to make 22k?
I know coins and bars are 24K (9999) gold. Thanks
Normally 22k or 23k is used , but I can make them in 24k if you want.
I can supply the gold or you can provide your own gold. I can make solid 1/2 round cross sections or other styles.

my bf and I have been together for 4.5 years now. he is 31, never married and i’m 30 w/3 girls from a previous marriage that he helps me raise part time (they are ages 10,8,and 7)
we have lived together officially since Feb of this year (I say officially b/c I had an apartment for 3 years but rarely stayed there the last 2 years).
we had talked about marriage awhile back and we both know we want to spend the rest of our lives together. while shopping at costco last week, we walked past the jewelry section and I saw a beautiful flower/butterfly shaped diamond ring. it was very simple but so pretty w/the butterfly in the middle and rows of diamonds on each side. He saw it too and thought that it was pretty but not expensive enough (it was 1300.00). I told him that I have really small hands (wear a size 3.5 in rings) so anything bigger than the 0.70 carats it was would be just too big and I didn’t want anything too expensive anyways-it was about being with him afterall.
we went back to costco again yesterday for some things and saw that the ring was still there so we looked again. he suggested I ask someone to take it out so I could try it on. we did and it was perfect!! It still looked big on my finger and he was suprised by this and told me it was beautiful. I joked w/him that he was going to get me totally attached to it and then he’d be in trouble.
when we got home, he pulled me aside and told me how much he loved me and the kids and that within 6 months, I’d have my ring. He then said he knew how much I liked the one at costco and that he also knew that it was one of a kind (once costco sells it, they dont replace it with the same kind of ring). I gave him a big hug and kiss then we went about our day.
i’m trying not to get too excited but this ring was "the ring" kind of like a woman knows when a wedding dress is "the dress"!!
do you think he’ll get it since he knows how much I liked it (and he liked it too) and then him saying it would be soon?!!
How would the board know what he has in mind? It’s your experience…you know him….you should know what he will do. Clearly it is not a wedding ring, so I imagine he is buying it as merely an item of jewelry.
Describe Your Wedding Ring?

Is your ring platinum, gold, silver, titanium, or steel?
Did you buy stones? Diamonds or something different?
What size are the stones (1/2 carat, 1 carat, etc.)?
Did you get a ring without stones like a traditional gold eternity band?
Do you have a wedding ring set - Engagement ring with a matching wedding band
Did any men get a ring to wear during the engagement period? Or did you just wear a ring after the wedding ceremony?
Any custom, handmade, or "one of a kind" jewelry? What’s the story behind it?
Sweet and simple. Theres no reason to go out and spend all kinds of money on something that will be put thru the ringer. My wedding ring has knicks and dings on it, which means it has bee na tough marriage and I work hard for it. I didnt want a big diamond with flashy gems and an engagment ring. I didnt want to loose the meaning of the ring with diamonds and jewels. My ring is engraved with my husbands name and date we got married! there doesnt need to be anything big about a wedding ring. you will have kids later and will need something that will be ok to get down and dirty with. good luck

I have a wedding anniversary coming up and I’m doing a little looking around. What is your favorite piece?
Jenny, that’s one of the things I worry about. I don’t have a big diamond in my wedding ring, so I was a little worried about that.

Making of Native Indian Jewelry
Author: admin
Native Indian jewelry, especially the Navajo and Zuni variety, generated a growing interest for its magnificent design and manufacturing. It is based on a tradition that is not long, dating back to the mid-19th century. The emphasis here is on the silverware that is used in the manufacture of jewelry. It is a story that is worth seeking. It is an American legacy of the native Indians, from the time of the Spanish conquest. So in that sense it is a tradition that dates back to the time the founders of America.
Native American jewelry was, and is generally classified into two broad categories - beadwork and metalwork. Beadwork has a long history dating back to the pre-Columbian era. He focused on the use of natural materials and semi-precious stones such as turquoise and shells, animal bones and ivory.
In this article, I focus on the work of metal jewelry. Because the skills and technologies for metals have not been made after the arrival of Europeans in the Americas, jewelry silverware was before that period, a relatively simple command. Iron and copper were used, so was the latest, brass and silver. The technique has been hammer and burning manual. The structuring of the money came after goldsmiths Gold work was introduced by the Spaniards.
The influence on the south-west of America. In fact, it was the first of the Mexicans who have learned the skills of the goldsmith of Spanish invaders. After the Indians from Mexico, their skills gradually grew and developed in the complex use of money with precious stones like turquoise, with distinctive designs that are surprisingly catchy.
The Navajo are credited to the tribe that helped to spread the art of goldsmithing. Being a nomadic nature, the Navajo often came into contact with Spanish in the south-west around the late 16th century. There were clashes and sometimes friendly association. Spaniards of jewelry and ornaments fascinated Indians. And they started to copy or incorporate the Spanish style and began to wear curios made from so-called German silver. But silverware, using the money, is not yet at hand.
Although history is not completely certain, it is generally thought that was the first Navajo silversmith Atsidi Sani (also known as “Old Smith”), and the manufacture of silver jewelry began in 1860 e. Sani Atsidi was among some 8,000 of the Navajo tribe who were captured and imprisoned at Fort Sumner in New Mexico from 1864 to 1868. It seems that by the end of captivity, Atsidi Sani learned the art of goldsmithing. The art was passed on to his son, and spread to the Zuni in around 1872. Atsidi Chon (also known, can be descriptive, as “Ugly Smith) taught his friend Zuni Lanyade the ability to make money. Navajo style was transmitted to the Hopi, when they learned to turn silver jewelry from the Zuni.
In the early days, the source of the money from Mexico and the United States was coins. The United States coins, to be easily accessible and good quality, have often been used. In 1890, a law was passed prohibiting the melting of coins from the United States, but was more often honored in the breach of the observation.
