Please link your favourite on-line jewellery store for something "a bit different". I’m tired of all the hum drum normal stuff I see in the shops and I’m hoping that you people have some good sites you want to share, pretty please. I’m looking for stuff that is not too cheap looking and not too expensive either… but I’m more just looking for inspiration.
I hope there are a few replies. :o)
Thanks for your time.

I’m looking to buy someone a pretty necklace for Christmas, but I’m not looking to spend the BIG bucks for it, I just can’t afford it. I want to keep it around/under $100.

I was looking at something like this: http://www.jared.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product1%7C10451%7C10001%7C-1%7C132531500%7C19063%7C19063.20053.19679

So, I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions or big stores that sell decent priced jewelry before I go and buy this one.
Any help is greatly appriciated!

Strongly suggest you shop through online pearl jewelry store. This can save up to 80-90% compared to local stores. As the holiday seasons coming, you would get discount then. A freshwater pearl necklace sized at 7-8mm drops within your budget, or you can choose smaller size.

Lenox Double Luck Butterfly Pendant

If a butterfly lands on you, they say, you’ll have good luck throughout the day. Now you can have twice the luck everyday with an original Lenox jewelry design of two beautiful butterflies. The Double Luck Butterfly Pendant portrays a graceful butterfly with two distinct wing designs, both crafted in intricate openwork. One side is brilliantly decorated with a gold filigree motif, accented with shimmering faux pearls. The other side sparkles with diamond-bright crystals.

Suggest the same for the shoes and bag please.

I’dgo with the gold jewellery, because the gold embroidery would stand out more. Unless you’re blonde, in which case wear some silver jewellery. For the shoes and bag, I’d go gold or silver with a touch of the actual outfit colour, to make it all tie in. Hope that helped..

Ok so I been reading everyone question and answers about cartilage piercing. Since I didn’t do my homework about not piercing my ear with a gun. It’s to late to be sorry. It’s been 4 days and I woke up this morning with my ear swollen, red, a little discharge. All day I been doing sea salt soaks. It’s been taking the pain away a little, but not he swelling. I also been taking Advil for the pain to completely stop throbbing. I sure I have an infection. And since I have a jewelry stud in and not a hoop. My question Is should I take the butterfly backing off and leave the Jewelry Stud in? (Because I would really love to keep the piercing, If I can) And do you think that would help it take the swelling away with sea salt soaks, so I can go to a professional to put a hoop in? Oh how long should the red swelling last even if the stud stays in or not?

go take it to a real piercing studio and they’ll be able to fix you up properly with a wick to drain fluids and jewelry to heal. don’t go to a doctor, since they will make you remove the stud, which would close the hole and trap the infection.

Okay so I am starting a new business and I will be selling handmade hemp silver charms, etc. and other gifts. My name is Heather Nichole and I would like to try and make it work into the store name. I was thinking of a play on words like HEMPpi. or something to that sort but I am at a lose for words. Any suggestions and slogans as well would be much apriciated. I also like things dream like. THANKS!
What do you think about HEMPpi Charm? Is it too cheesey? I dunno.
Also one of my friends call me starlight.

I’m sick of buying costume jewelry and its metal parts ending up with a crazy funky unpleasant smell! It never fails. So, I’d like to find out what the stuff is made of so I can avoid using it, and learn how to make my own jewelry. I’m not finding a good site with a kit that includes everything I’ll need to get started making all types of jewelry I want (like bracelets, necklaces, earrings, AND the tools & supplies) by searching Google and Yahoo. I can’t even find anything decent on Ebay and Amazon. Any ideas?

Try Joanns Micaels orHobby Lobby any craft store sells kits that are more expensive and has better quality of stuff in them

Good luck and have fun

boyfriend and i broke up after 6 years of being together, 5 years living together. he tells me 30 days before our lease is up and leaves me with two dogs as well. didnt ask for jewelry back, and i cant ever wear it. should i keep it, or sell it. my main pieces are a diamond ring, was like $900 from Jared, thought was my engagement ring, actually was just a diamond ring.. nice b.f huh… the other is a diamond heart necklace from Jared, $400.00. i have all the paperwork and inspections, they aren’t even a year old. what do i do???

let me make it very clear i know for a fact i will not ever wear these again.. ever..

They are gifts so technically you can keep them.

Personally I would just give them back in a box with other things not mentioning it just to show how little they matter to you.

Alternately you could see if you cld see if you could trade them in (you won;t get full value) towards another piece of jewelery that might symbolize your new start that you would like. Most places like Jareds do that. You won;t get full value but Jareds is low cost, low quality jewelry so you should be able to get something as a new piece.

what kind of jewelry is recommended for a tragus piercing?
anybody have a butterfly tattoo? if so, email me a pic of your tatt at s.cherelle@yahoo.com

Either a labret stud, a straight barbell of a captive ball ring. Regular ‘ear piercing studs’ aren’t appropriate

Don’t have a butterfly tattoo, think they’re pretty stupid for the most part (well, the wearers tend to be in my experience) but you can browse through a tonne of them here: http://www.bmeink.com/kwindex.html (just scroll down until you find ‘butterfly’ on the list)

Handmade, Faceted gemstones, sterling silver, all the finest! I know I have some kewl styles

Open a booth at a craft fair or flea market. Make sure you are always "advertising" your jewelry by wearing it, then when someone asks where you got it, hand them your business card.
