I plan on giving one of these to my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary. Which of these would you prefer? I’m not sure what to get. And do you have any idea how i can figure out her ring size? Thanks a lot. Here are the links:

and

Would the ring be more symbolic? (just wondering)
Or both? Money’s not an option
We’re both 15
And we’re pretty much engaged (awesome) so no worries about that

i would wear the first on a daily basis, its very cute and very sweet
the ring is cute too, i think it depends on her style
you should know her by now after a year, right?
if youre going for more romantic, then the ring
more casual and cute, then the necklace
if you decide on the ring, try holding her hand and estimating her ring size?
or maybe take her hand and kiss the top so you can get a good look at her fingers?
or get a friend to measure
idk
i know im not very helpful
oh well
happy anniversary!

I’m going to a wedding in a few weeks and I’ll be wearing a long black dress (the theme is black and white). I’m thinking of wearing pink gemstones with it (black and pink is hot), but I’m torn between the pink sapphire set and the topaz set… The sapphires are a little more expensive, but not enough to make the choice for me. Any thoughts? Oh, and here are pictures of the two choices:

Sapphire:

Topaz:

And I’m open to other websites, but I prefer this one because everything is handmade in America (I’m a patriot, what can I say?) Oh, and if you do respond, my taste is sort of centered around very simple elegant stuff… I don’t like huge funky pieces of jewelry, so just keep that in mind if you give me a link to something I might like :)

Thanks!!

please ………try to buy pink sapphire coz it is definitely good price :D looks like ruby :)……
Topaz u can find for lesser price if u search in deals :)

I am looking at engagement rings, and I know of Jared Reeds Kay and Zales, none of them have anything that I am interested in. Is there anywhere else that sells engagement rings, nice ones. Not just some little store. A well know store. Thanks a lot, this will really help.

This website, http://www.onlinejewelerreview.com/, has a list of all of the top online jewelry stores. All of them are well known, have great products, and most offer free shipping so if you’re not happy with the engagement ring you can return it at no cost to you. Good luck!

I would like to find a reputable jeweler who does custom jewelry in my area. I found a ring that I fell in love with but cannot seem to get enough money together to get it. It is the Calla Lily Butterfly ring from JRDunn. What are some places around the Plainfield, NJ area.? Zip code is 07060. Thanks!

i want to buy some diamond jewellery, like a ring and a 3-stone necklace.which store(like Jared,Kay,Zales etc) offers the best jewellery in terms of both quality and price?
is buying diamond jewellery at BJ’s, Sam’s Club recommended?

I agree, the smaller "mom & pop" jewelry stores often have the best quality and customer service, and their prices are usually comparable as well.
I wouldn’t buy jewelry at Sam’s Club. A friend of mine bought a mid-priced ring there and when she went to an actual jeweler to get it sized correctly, it was destroyed during sizing because the quality was so poor.

… like it was over $20? I’m buying a $250 diamond accent, sterling silver w/ 10K gold butterfly necklace. I was just curious if a woman would know, because I obviously don’t. Thanks!

yes we can tell, very easily.

I have a small business for selling gift items handmade in Egypt. The list is not too long: christmas ornaments, decorative perfume bottles, silver jewelry, papyrus paintings, and Alabaster jars.
I am trying to reach owners of small retail B&M gift shops around the US (possible worldwide too) to market my products. Can someone please suggest what is on the reading list of these store owners, magazines, blogs, web sites, newsletters, etc. Anything where I can place an ad that will reach them.

Thanks.
